Choose Your Display Board
From small point-of-sale graphics to large exhibition displays, different applications call for different levels of thickness and rigidity. A range of display board options is available, so you can choose a specification that works for the size of your artwork, how it will be displayed and how much handling it is likely to receive.
Display Board
This lightweight material has a smooth, bright white surface, making it perfect for various indoor applications. Available in 1.25mm (1250mic) and 2mm (2000mic) thicknesses. It’s easy to handle and a good choice where you want something more substantial than plastic without adding unnecessary weight.
Single-sided is ideal when your board will be positioned against a wall, mounted to another surface or only viewed from one direction.
Double-sided works well for suspended and window displays where people may approach from different directions.
This product is also available with matt, gloss or dry wipe laminate finishes (one side only) to make it more durable. It can also be cut to a bespoke shape or drilled in 2 or 4 corners, to allow it to be suspended/fixed in place.

1.6mm Compact Pressboard
Compact pressboard provides a slim, smooth and lightweight display surface that’s particularly useful for temporary promotional graphics. Its relatively thin profile makes it easy to transport and position, making it a practical option for exhibitions and events where displays may need to be moved regularly.

2.3mm Doublewall E+E Flute
The fluted construction of this 2.3mm board gives it additional structure while keeping the finished display relatively lightweight. It’s a useful choice for graphics that need to cope with a little more handling or remain in place for longer than a very short-term promotion.
It’s particularly well suited to temporary retail environments, events and displays where you want more rigidity without moving up to a much thicker board.

3.8mm DISPA® Display Board
DISPA® is a lightweight, paper-based display board with a structured core that provides additional stability. At 3.8mm thick, it gives larger graphics a more substantial feel while remaining easy to handle.

10mm Honeycomb Display Board
For larger displays or applications where greater rigidity is important, 10mm honeycomb board provides a much more substantial structure while retaining the benefits of a paper-based display material.
The honeycomb core helps larger graphics hold their shape, making this a particularly useful option for oversized displays and graphics that are likely to receive more handling.

Display Board Sizes
Your display doesn’t have to be restricted to one particular format. Standard sizes are available from A4 through to A0, covering everything from smaller counter graphics to much larger exhibition and promotional displays.
Standard sizes include:
- A4: 210 × 297mm
- A3: 297 × 420mm
- A2: 420 × 594mm
- A1: 594 × 841mm
- A0: 841 × 1189mm
Need something outside the standard A sizes? Custom dimensions are also available, with some display board specifications suitable for graphics up to 1450 × 2800mm.
The maximum size available will depend on the board material you choose, so if you’re planning a particularly large display, Shropshire Printing can help identify the right material and specification for the job.
