Saddle stitched books are bound with staples, folded to size &amp; then trimmed for a neat final product.
Saddle stitch books come in pages of 4 multiples, from 8pp to 56pp (inc. cover) and can have a ‘self cover’ (which means using the same paper thickness as the inner pages) or a thicker cover (recommended on larger books).
For larger brochures, it is quite common for the cover to be printed on heavier stock and the inner text pages to be printed on the lower weight.
